Timothy Brininger, M.D.Dr. Timothy Brininger is a 1990 graduate from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia. After Med school he served a transitional year residency at West Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania and followed that with four years of active duty in the Air Force as a Flight Surgeon. Dr. Brininger returned to West Reading to finish his Family Practice Residency. He and his family moved to Idaho in the late summer of 1997 and he has been a practicing physician for Trinity Mountain ever since. Dr. Brininger has served our country as a Flight Surgeon at Anderson Air Force Base in Guam and as a Squadron Medical Element for the 421st Fighter Squadron at Hill Air Force Base. He then became a Flight Surgeon for the Delaware Air National Guard and when he moved to Idaho, joined the Idaho Air National Guard. He has been deployed to Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait. After taking a few years off so he could coach his children in sports, he has returned to the Reserves and is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the 349th MDS at Travis Air Force Base in California. Dr. Brininger maintains a very active practice which includes not only his private practice at Trinity Mountain Medical Clinic and his service to our country through the Reserves, but he also is the Medical Director for eight local EMS agencies, he provides obstetric and pediatric care to the Native American population at Duck Valley Reservation, he is involved with the CWI Paramedic Program as Medical Director and is Medical Director at Three Springs. He is the Elmore County Medical Director for Horizon Hospice Program and despite this maintains his interest in teaching by mentoring MD, PA and Nurse Practitioner students. His hobbies include playing fast pitch baseball in Boise and spending time with his family whether it is snow skiing, water skiing, camping, hiking, riding motorcycles or working on his house.
